See more of “Stars Hollow” in my video below!

I’ve been obsessed with the quirky town of Stars Hollow for years now, and did some research online to see which towns resembled it the most. I scoured blogs, articles and forums, taking notes from real Connecticut residents and other Gilmore Girls fans, who were also on a similar quest. Then, I narrowed down a comprehensive list of the top towns to visit on my journey to finding a real-life version of Stars Hollow. See the video of my journey below!

If you look at little south, outside of Philadelphia, there is a colonial town, founded by a woman, Elizabeth Haddon. Her father, John Haddon bought a 500 acre track of land from a Fellow Quaker named William Penn. Too sick to travel, Haddon sent his eighteen year old, single daughter, Elizabeth to claim the land. New Jersey broke with England, becoming an independent state in 1712, at the Indian King Tavern, in Haddonfield. Four years ago, celebrating it’s Tricentennial in 2012. Boasting confectioners, coffee shops, gazebo, antique car shows, antique shops and a 4th of July parade that can’t be beat! Not to mention, rarely do you hear about play dates and children still freely ride their bikes around the neighborhood.
