Make Your Kitchen Look Like Luke’s Diner: Free Printable “No Cell Phones Sign” to download and print at home!

One of my favorite things to look for on my elusive search for a real-life Stars Hollow is a town diner just like Luke’s. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a diner like Luke’s yet, but I thought it would be fun to recreate the funny “No Cell Phones” sign that hangs behind his counter near the coffee machine. Feel free to print this up and post it on your refrigerator. Of, if you want to get really fancy, frame it! Just be prepared to get odd looks from all the iPhone and Android obsessed users out there. :)

NOTE: Free for personal use only. Although this printable file is free, it cannot be sold or distributed without prior permission.

I Needed More Luke In My Life, So I Created This Retro Diner Poster

If you fantasize about walking into your neighborhood greasy spoon and seeing a man in a flannel shirt and backwards cap serve you breakfast (and begrudgingly refill your coffee), then this artwork is for you! The inspiration for this new poster design came from vintage advertisements from the 1950s-1960s. Coffee, coffee, coffee! Check it out here.

  1. I would move just outside of CT and try Keene, NH. I lived there and not only does it have a long Main Street lined by oak trees, it also has a gazebo in the town center with a huge white steeple church behind it. Main street has a local diner called Timoleon’s, candy store, record store, pizza shop, etc. During autumn they have a huge pumpkin festival and lined the entire Main Street with pumpkins covering every inch and leave them for days and decorate the lamp posts with garlands of autumn leaves. The town smells of pumpkin spice and apples during autumn. During winter all the lamp posts and trees are lined with white twinkling lights and its pretty magical when it snows. Winter festival includes carolers in the gazebo followed by Santa and rides up and down Main Street in horse pulled sleighs. Its as close to Stars Hollow as you can get IMO. I recommened googling “Keene, NH christmas” and Keene NH autumn or pumpkin festival.

    1. Hi Sandra! Right above the yellow “Luke’s Diner” poster image in the post, you’ll see a section that says: “Download “No Cell Phones” Sign for Free”. The download link will appear after you “Like” or “Share” the post on Facebook or Twitter. I hope that helps! If you’re still having trouble, please let me know.

  3. I don’t see where to click either. I tried the section you mentioin

    1. Hi Tina! I’m so sorry you’re having trouble locating the download section. I have edited the blog post, so hopefully it’ll be easier to find. Please refresh the webpage and look for the big red letters that say: “Download File Below.” If, for some reason, you do not see the ‘Download “No Cell Phones” Sign for Free’ box that contains the necessary social media links, you may need to use a different browser. I hope that helps! :-)
